VOD Support
We help filmmakers place their films on VOD platforms.
VOD Support seeks to increase the visibility of Swiss-made films on international streaming services and improve their distribution opportunities. The financial support we award is intended to cover part of the costs of subtitling, online marketing and encoding.
How can I apply for VOD Support?
Please refer to the "Practical guide" (in German and French) for details of eligibility for support, a list of qualifying VOD platforms and the application procedure.
If the VOD rights have been sold to a distributor in the territory in question, VOD Support can be applied for exclusively by the distributor via Distribution Support.
Notes on eligibility for support:
- Production companies, world sales agents and directors who own the rights to the film and whose registered office or domicile is in Switzerland are eligible to apply for support
- Contributions may be granted to Swiss feature-length and short films and official co-productions (Swiss majority co-production)
